Beech Hill Clothing
about

Beech Hill Clothing believes that our responsibility as human beings is to tread lightly on the earth. We are working to achieve this by creating “upcycled” clothing, a term coined by William McDonough*.

Mr. McDonough defines this as the process of taking an item that is headed for the landfill and instead, redesigning it for a new use. The landfills are less crowded and the item’s resources are used – and enjoyed – for a much longer period of time.

Beech Hill Clothing offers handmade, colorful, upcycled fashions for children and women including shirts, skirts, dresses created in a variety of ways:
  • Re-dyed
  • Remodeled from existing clothes
  • Newly-created from vintage
  • Hand painted fabric

Since each item is handmade, it is unique. We do our best to match our products’ photographs but some slight variations do occur. You will enjoy a one-of-a-kind garment for years to come. Welcome to the world of Beech Hill.

*William McDonough is a world-renowned architect, designer and winner of three U.S. presidential awards: the Presidential Award for Sustainable Development (1996), the National Design Award (2004); and the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award (2003).
